The location of the WF Poklečani is located in the wider mountainous area of Štitar Mountain and Debelo brdo northeast of Rakitno, which is located in the northern part of Municipality of Posušje, approx. 13 km northeast of the center of the Municipality. At the mentioned location, the construction of the WF Poklečani is planned with 20 wind turbines, each with a power of about 6.6 MW, located in two rows (trenches) in the wider area of Štitar Mountain and in the area of Debelo brdo and Mučinovac, the area of Municipality of Posušje.
The wind turbines will be placed on type foundations on the related platforms and connected by access roads and an internal cable route in which the medium voltage network is laid together with the communication network connecting the wind turbines to the substation.
Access and service roads that will be connected to the existing main road M-17.5 and platforms for cranes are planned. The construction of the transformer station TS 220/33/10(20) kV Poklečani with a control building and connection to the power system (DV 2×220 kV Rama-Posušje) and an internal medium voltage cable and communication network is planned.

Expected Benefits
The development of the Wind Farm Poklečani at the location Poklečani – Rakitno, Municipality of Posušje will be of general importance for both the local and the regional community, both in terms of the power generation from renewable sources with reduced greenhouse gas emissions, as well as in terms of finances. It is expected that the wind farm will generate 436 GWh/year of electric power, which is equivalent to the energy needs of over 72,000 average households, while at the same time a reduction in CO2 emissions in the amount of more than 400,000 tons is achieved compared to power plants that use solid fuels for power generation.
By building this Wind Farm, JP „Elektroprivreda HZ HB“d.d. Mostar will expand generation capacities by 14.6 percent, and increase annual generation by approximately 20 percent, while at the same time will reduce dependence on hydrological conditions and electricity prices on the market. Moreover, the Project implementation will increase economic competitiveness, resulting in more competitive electricity prices.

Project Status
The process of obtaining the necessary permits for the Project implementation, settlement of property-legal relations, preparation of documentation for construction permit requirements, negotiations with commercial banks are ongoing.
