Household customers have the right to receive electricity through public supply, which entitles them to public service. A household customer is someone who purchases electricity for personal use in their home, not for commercial or professional purposes.
According to the Law on Electricity of the Federation of BiH, a licensed supplier responsible for providing public service must offer electricity supply under regulated conditions. This means providing service throughout the entire distribution area with clear, non-discriminatory, and transparent pricing. The Government of the Federation of BiH has appointed JP “Elektroprivreda HZ HB” d.d. Mostar as the public supplier, and the Regulatory Commission for Energy in the Federation of BiH has approved the prices, effective from January 1, 2020:

The public supplier’s pricing includes distribution network charges, electricity procurement costs, and the public supply service fee. It does not cover the fee for incentives for renewable energy production or VAT, which the public supplier must itemize on each customer’s bill according to current regulations.
