The first wind farm in Bosnia and Herzegovina – WF Mesihovina was put into operation with a total installed capacity of 50.6 MW, and average annual generation of 165 GWh.

The Hydroelectric Power Plant Mostarsko blato, a diversion-storage hydroelectric power plant with a total installed capacity of 60 MW and an average annual generation of 167 GWh was put into operation.

A company for the transmission of electric power Elektroprijenos Mostar is leaving the Company.

Elektroprijenos Mostar was part of the Company until 2006, although the prerequisites for establishing a single company for the transmission of electricity were already created in 2002 by the Law on Transmission of Electric Power, Regulator and System Operator ofn Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is also regulated by the Law Establishing the Company for the Transmission of Electric Power in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2004.

The company Elektroprijenos BiH a.d. Banja Luka, which included Elektroprijenos Mostar, was registered by the Decision of the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 1 February 2006.

The Hydroelectric Power Plant Peć Mlini was put into operation as a diversion – run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant with a total installed capacity of 30 MW and an average annual production of 82 GWh, the first hydroelectric power plant built on the territory of the former Yugoslavia after the war.

The Decision of the Agency for Privatization in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the approval of the registration of the completed privatization in the court register confirmed that the share of state capital of 10.00% was privatized through a public offer of shares.
The first Assembly of the joint-stock company (d.d.) was held on 8 March 2004, at which the first Articles of Association of the joint-stock company was adopted.

In the period from January 2001 to the end of 2002, the Government of the Federation of BiH was taken over by the so-called Alliance for Changes, which, on the basis of the disputed Regulation from 2000, appoints the Management Board of the Company.

At its meetings, the Board of Directors amends the Company’s Articles of Association from April 1998, thus confirming that all powers and obligations in the Company (in terms of ownership) are exercised by the relevant Ministry, i.e. the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry (FMERI), and that until the end of privatization, the function of the Company’s management body will be performed by the Board of Directors appointed and dismissed by the relevant Ministry.

In August 2002, the Law on Electricity in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entered into force confirming the jurisdiction of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, that is, the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry in an economic company with the participation of state capital.

On 16 February 2000, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the Regulation on Exercising Powers and Obligations of The Bodies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in economic companies based on state capital, with the enclosed List of economic companies.

The Regulation stipulates that powers and obligations based on state capital are exercised by the bodies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which in the case of our company is the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry (FMERI).

In a legally confused way, with this disputed Regulation, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina took over the authority to exercise ownership rights, with strong opposition from the then Assembly of the Company, which consisted of representatives of 35 municipalities in which the Company operates.

The Company was transformed from s.p.o. (a public company with full responsibility) in d.o.o. (a limited liability company) based on the Decision of the Government of the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosna,

At its session held on 28 August1992, the Croatian Defense Council (HVO) passed the Decision on the Establishment of the Public Enterprise Elektroprivreda of the Croatian Community of Herceg-Bosna during the immediate threat of war or a state of war.

The establishment of our Company was registered in the Register of Business Entities by decision of the High Court in Mostar on 17 November 1992, and this date is taken as the date of establishment of the Company.

The Hydroelectric Power Plant Mostar was put into operation as a storage hydroelectric power plant with dam toe powerhouse type of facility with a total installed capacity of 72 MW and an average annual production of 310 GWh.

The Hydroelectric Power Plant Čapljina was put into operation as a pumped-storage hydroelectric power plan with a total installed capacity of 420 MW and an average annual production of 620 GWh.

The Hydroelectric Power Plan Rama was put into operation as a diversion-storage hydroelectric power plant with a total installed capacity of 160 MW and an average annual production of 650 GWh.

The Hydroelectric Power Plan Jajce I was put into operation as a diversion – run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant with a total installed capacity of 60 MW and an average annual production of 220 GWh.

The Hydroelectric Power Plan Jajce II, was put into operation as a diversion – run-of-the-river hydroelectric power plant with a total installed capacity of 30 MW and an average annual production of 175 GWh.
